The Archive of Us is. You make an account and start the archive. You send a friend an invite. They make their own account and take the other side. The database itself will not let one person write as the other. You see both versions. You can open a printable joint document in the browser whenever you like.
What has to be true
Two real accounts, not one person filling both sides. An invite, not a shared password. Whoever writes second reads the first. The day you met can refuse to agree — that is prompt 40002, and it is the demo. The download is both of you, tonight.
Honesty, because the category is full of promises: there is no mailed hardcover from the app, and no Stripe. A paper companion is planned for Christmas 2026. The three kinds of question — spread, post, together — are how you spend the evening, not switches in the software.
