No trackers, really
The number of cookies is zero.
No cookies, no consent banner, nothing following you off the site. The only thing stored anywhere is your own archive, in your own browser, on your own device.

Cookies we set
None. There is no login to remember, no analytics cookie, and no preference that needs one. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Local storage we do use
The app keeps your archive — reflections, the thread, the joint note — in your browser’s local storage, under a single entry named archiveOfUsState. It exists so your words are still there when you come back. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and disappears if you clear the browser’s site data — so export anything you’d mind losing.
What we don’t have
No Google Analytics. No Meta pixel. No session recording, heat maps, fingerprinting or remarketing of any kind. We make a place to keep a friendship on paper; we don’t need to follow either of you around the internet.
Your choice
There is no “accept all” button because there is nothing to accept. If you’d rather the app stored nothing at all, use a private browsing window — though your archive will vanish when you close it, which rather defeats the point of an archive.
